Classic lampshade shape for the designer hanging light Ktribe S1 by Philippe Starck The hanging light Ktribe S1 combines classic elements with the modern ones. The conical shape of the lampshade is classical. The PMMA material used is modern; it is coated with aluminium and allows light emission only at the upper end. Another lampshade is provided inside. It is made from light-permeable polycarbonate. Thanks to the different light permeability of both lampshades, most light is emitted downwards and very little passes through the lampshade. The Ktribe S1 light was designed by Philippe Starck, who has already developed path-breaking models for FLOS whose headquarters is based in Italy. Energy efficiency class:A++
